Our Import/Export specialty is designed for those who want to start or expand their own import or export business and professionals who seek entry or career advancement companies that require enhanced importing or exporting skills, including:

Many of the Import/Export courses and seminars offered by Baruch’s Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) division have been approved by the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America, Inc. (NCBFAA) to offer CEUs that can be used to satisfy the continuing education requirements for those holding the Certified Customs Specialist (CCS) and Certified Export Specialist (CES) designations. Assignment of CEUs for approved courses must be requested upon registration by sending an email including student name, course name and semester to andrea.huda@baruch.cuny.edu. 

CAPS courses provide a practical, hands-on and comprehensive understanding of all facets of the Import/Export business ranging from tariff classification and customs valuation to NAFTA and e-commerce.
